Sexual dimorphism is pronounced in this species, with males turning brown as they mature. Known for their aggression, speed and potent venom, this species' movements are much more unpredictable than most other species, so extreme care is required. These species are burrowers and often hide in networks of burrows, and can be seen outside at night waiting for food to arrive.
